Hello, Mother. 😊 Today we tried making a colorful, pretty peacock.
First we explored what a beautiful peacock looks like, and we also looked over the fun-art supplies together. We decorated the peacock’s wings prettily and colorfully by sticking on stickers in various colors such as yellow, orange, and red.
And we also stuck on sparkling shiny eyes, and even dressed the peacock in a fine new coat of feathers.
“A pretty peacock, complete~!” 🎨🦚
We could see her looking very delighted as she completed her very own wonderful peacock. This time we put on headbands of the animals we like along with our friends and went out for a walk.
HaRin transformed into a cute pig~! 🐖 🐷
Wearing the headband, she walked excitedly and enjoyed the walk. While we were walking, we also went back again to the place where last Friday we had looked for crabapples, explored them, and then left them in the forest.
She found it very fascinating that the birds had not eaten the crabapples yet.
She picked up a crabapple again and tried saying, “Little tweet-tweet~ eat it~”.🐦🍎

Hello, teacher ☺️
HaRin seems to know animals accurately now these days and to find looking at them fun, so over the weekend we went to an indoor zoo haha
HaRin likes rabbits the most, so she chased after the rabbits hopping away and ran around excitedly.
She also greeted the piglet that was out for a walk and smiled at it as if it were fun.
For feeding the little parakeets, so many birds gathered around that she got scared haha, so we quickly ran back out haha
Even so, she diligently looked at the animals she knows such as sheep, horses, turtles, snails, lizards, fish, ducks and so on, called out their names, and even tried imitating them.
Watching HaRin enjoying herself, our whole family had a happy weekend🥰

Hello, Mother 😊 Today we played puppy house play together with various puppy friends. 🐶🐱🐘 First we looked around the puppy house and examined what animals there were.
Exploring several animals one by one such as a puppy, a cat, and an elephant, HaRin also picked out the puppy she likes and held it tight in her hand.
When I slipped the puppy into a box and asked, “Huh? Where did the puppy go?”, HaRin looked inside the box and showed me the puppy she had been holding, saying, “Here~ the puppy is here~”. 😊
This time, while finding out the puppy’s position, when I asked, “Is the puppy on top?” she said “On top~”, and when I asked “Is it underneath?” she said “Underneath~”, looking for where the puppy was. She also showed us that when we hid the puppy deep inside the box and asked, “Where is the puppy?”, she would smile brightly and find it, saying, “Here~!”
The game of hiding and then finding must have been fun, because she repeated it for a long time and played happily. ❤️ This time we talked about the giraffe with its loooong neck and also played a game of fitting the giraffe’s neck on. 🦒
Holding the giraffe’s neck puzzle piece in her hand, she turned it this way and that trying to fit it onto the rod, and when it did not fit well she looked at it again and we could see her finding a way on her own. To fit it onto the high spot she also stood on tiptoe and adjusted the distance of her body, naturally moving her body.
At last she slipped the giraffe’s long neck right in, and she had a delightful time taking a “click~!” photo together with the giraffe. 📸💕 Today, playing with [friend] must have been fun, because they talked with each other and she goes home smiling and happy~

Hello, Mother~ 😊 Today, under the theme “The Elephant’s Trunk Is Its Hand,” we played a game of experiencing the elephant’s long trunk in a fun way. First we sang the song together, “Mr. Elephant’s trunk is his hand~ If you give him a snack he catches it with his trunk~🎵”, and talked about the elephant’s long trunk.
Singing along with the song, we also imitated elephants, and we put an elephant face on our arms to become elephants. 🐘
HaRin, who had become an elephant, looked over the various fruits that elephants like, then put strength into her hands and grasped the fruits one by one tightly to move them over to the basket beside her.
When we said, “Yum yum~ please give the delicious fruit to the elephant~”, she showed a delighted look as she grasped and moved the fruits. 🍎🍌🍊
After putting the fruits in the basket, we counted together and tried saying “One~ two~ three~”, and carried on with a game of carrying the full basket and sharing the fruits with the other animal friends.
In the process of handing fruit to the animal friends and playing together, she was naturally able to practice counting. ❤️ Next, we looked over various animal hand puppets and talked about, “Which animal do you like?”
Among the many animals HaRin chose a duck and put it on her hand, and her friend chose a rabbit hand puppet, and they played together. 🐰
With the hand puppets on each other’s hands, they imitated the animals’ voices and movements, saying “Hello~ I am a duck~ Who are you?”, and exchanged greetings with each other, playing happily.

Hello, Mother~ 😊 Today, continuing from yesterday, we sang the children’s song “Mr. Elephant” excitedly and played a game of imitating elephants. 🐘💛 Taking an interest in the elephant’s most distinctive feature, its loooong trunk, we carried out a game of thinking of a pop cube as an elephant’s trunk and exploring it. First, when I pulled on the pop cube and showed her, “It got short~ it got long~”, HaRin also showed interest and took the pop cube in her hand and explored it.
Grasping the pop cube with her small hands and slowly pulling on it, she watched it grow longer and tried saying, “Get longer~ get longer~”,
and she pressed it down firmly with her fingers to make it short again and tried saying, “Get shorter~”. The way the pop cube stretched and shrank, and the interesting movement felt at her fingertips, must have been fun, because we could see her exploring it repeatedly for a long while. 🥰
Then she brought the pop cube up to her nose and said “Elephant~”, and she also made a “pbbb~” sound like an elephant, expressing the play in HaRin’s own way, which was very cute. 🐘💕 This time we also did a physical play activity of hooking rings onto an elephant’s trunk together.
Looking at the rings one by one, we counted “One~ two~ three~”, and hooked the rings onto the elephant’s trunk. Every time a ring slipped right onto the trunk she showed delight and tried again and again.
Today, while naturally experiencing the elephant’s characteristics through play, she was able to explore the difference between ‘long’ and ‘short’, and she even had the experience of using her fine motor muscles by controlling her fingers to move the pop cube.
It was HaRin’s day of singing children’s songs, expressing herself with words and sounds, moving her body, and playing happily. 🐘🌷

Hello, Mother~ 😊 Today we had a time of looking through various animal picture books and meeting the animals inside the books. Opening the picture books, we looked together for what animals were hiding, learning the names of various animals such as “Tiger!”, “Crocodile!”, “Turtle!”, and “Whale!”,
and we also talked about which animal we like best.
Among the several animal picture books, HaRin showed interest in the cat picture book, so she picked up the cat book and turned the pages one by one. 📖🐱
She looked at the pictures and read the book, and we could also see her showing the book to her friend as if to say “Let’s look at it together~” because she found it fun, and looking through the book together.
The sight of her sharing her enjoyment with her friend while looking at the book together was truly lovely. ❤️ This time we also did a physical play activity of becoming an animal’s tail while listening to the lively children’s song “Where Did My Tail Go?”
With a loooong tail made of a balloon attached, when we said “Jump!” she hopped up and down, and at the words “Run~!” she shook her tail and ran excitedly. 🎈
She also became a crocodile and crawled along slowly, and became a monkey and made “eek~ eek~” sounds. 🐊🐒
Becoming an elephant, she stepped forward vigorously with both feet and walked with a “thump thump!”, expressing each animal’s movements and sounds with her body. 🐘
